WHAT:
Join us as Stony Brook Medicine senior leadership discusses Stony Brook’s success in increasing health care on the South Fork, one of the state’s most challenging geographic communities as it pertains to access to quality healthcare. See demonstrations of recent technological and surgical advancements at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, as well as vital updates to emergency care made possible by the new Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department. Community members will meet and engage with the leadership of Stony Brook Medicine, as well as Stony Brook Southampton Hospital surgeons. The event is free and open to the public and will offer free health screenings, including blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, fall risk assessments, and wellness activities such as chair massages, plus, cool giveaways, including travel-size first aid kits.
